The Woman Inside is a slow burn character study with a side of crazy.

A troubled housekeeper, a controlling husband, a mysteriously ill wife, a father on the edge, and a young woman who’s being played or maybe she’s the one playing…

What’s going on in this upscale community? Secrets and lies and someone dies!

Reading this book felt a bit like watching an episode of Jerry Springer. I did a lot of eye rolling and gave the characters quite a few mental slaps, but still I kept reading because the drama was somehow addictive.

I empathized with Karla, the housekeeper who made some bad choices but was desperately trying to better her life. The other characters were unlikable but intriguing, in that way of characters I’d be happy to see die at the end.

Overall, The Woman Inside is an enjoyable story that will keep you on edge and guessing until the end.
