I've had this book on my want to read list so I'm a bit disappointed I had a difficult time trying to connect with the story reading the first look. The writing just isn't that descriptive to me, the characters are extremely bland and the scenes difficult to picture at all, I had zero sense of the town or locations. Really felt like more telling than showing as I read.
