In the First Look for THE WOMAN INSIDE, I enjoyed the introductions to the main characters and getting a glimpse into what may be coming as the story progresses. Bill, the widower with a young daughter, seems to be searching for a way to support his child and has difficulty finding a job that will accommodate his schedule with young Sally. Karla, a new law student, is unhappy in her dorm that is noisy and not conducive to study or rest. She has taken a job at the huge mansion owned by Steven and Regina Rytter and is exhausted from the time it takes to do the chores there correctly. Interestingly enough, the introduction to Steven includes his meeting a young woman named Jennica whom he met on Tinder. Very intriguing development since he is married to invalid Regina! My favorite part of the First Look was the police interview with Bill in which he is being questioned concerning a murder and the hint is given that he has been in trouble with the law before. I can’t wait to find out what trouble Bill has been in, how the thing with Jennica and Steven develops, if Karla makes it in law school or not and finally, if two of the characters introduced as a wealthy couple are the ones who were killed. It would seem so, but I never assume with a good suspense book and this book promises to be a really captivating suspense!
