This strikes me as a serious mystery book. It had this feel like we are being brought into the investigation in a controlled way. It would be interesting to read like that, but I feel like there were too many narrators. Too many points of view to keel track of. I didn't feel like I got to know any of them well enough before it switched. Which, could potentially work in a mystery set up like this, but I didn't care for it. I do think the writing is easy to read and get lost in. But, combined with the lackluster cover, it didn't give me enough to be interested in the book.
