This incredible author, Simone has written the very beautifully illustrated novel, The wives. I’m usually not the biggest fan of memoirs but I saw this book and I immediately knew that I had to pick it up and read it.. the stories, the pain, everything about this novel was incredibly beautiful. The journey of marriage, sisterhood and so much more was so beautiful and overall, an amazing memoir about woman! I am all for women and the beauty they carry inside and out. I can’t wait to recommend this to all my bookish friends. It was a beautiful privilege reading this novel! I read this novel within a week span so it wasn’t a very long or difficult novel to read.
