Atten-shun!
This took awhile to read because of my busy schedule the last two months, but this book was worth it. The intricacies of the support system of soldiers, the wives. It was almost like they had their own war at home!
There weren't too many errors and it flowed quite well. I deeply understood how the post accident trauma Simone went through having gone through it myself. It's funny how you don't think of yourself as an influence in someone's life until it is mentioned, how you move away from a group of friends and suddenly everyone else moves or changes careers. It was interesting too see how strict the wives had it at home, not being able to understand their husbands when they were home at an intimate level anymore. Possibly dealing with husbands with PTSD, not even really knowing who they married anymore. To see how the wives handled pivotal points of war or even during COVID.
