Overall, this one was a 3.5/5 for me.

Richard leaves his wife, Vanessa, for a much younger woman. Is Vanessa a jealous ex-wife? Is she obsessed with Richard's new fiance? Is everything as it seems?

This novel employed a few of my favorite literary devices. The main one being jumping through time and switching perspectives. I don't know about any of you, but I've started getting a little bored with those thrillers that tell the story from beginning to end; "this happened, then this happened, then this happened". I like having to work for it a little bit.

That said, this one was a bit on the predictable side. I saw big pieces of the twists coming. But that's not to say it wasn't very well done and well written.

My biggest complaint, though, is that it wrapped up in a ridiculously neat little bow. I love having some lingering questions at the end--nothing huge, but I don't want everything answered. If you like that, this one is probably for you!
