I really liked this book. I was a little confused a few times but I think maybe I was supposed to be. The prologue sets the scene of the title I think. But you just kind of assume this is the first wife scaring the next wife. But after I finished, I had to wonder how many wives there really are. The wife in between is trying to warn the next wife. She is trying to tell her what will happen after she marries her husband. Nellie is so excited to get married. She believes she has met the perfect man. All of he women do. I’m not saying there are many, but this guy is crazy,crazy. I was also a bit confused if Nellie was telling the story or the wife before. Suffice it to say, this guy drives each of them crazy but reading about how he does it is quite a sort. They really are out to get him.
