This one ended up being a hard one for me to rate. I really liked the first part, LOVED the second, but it lost me a little there at the end. I think one or two fewer twists might have been preferable - they were coming so fast and furious in part three that I got a bit of twist fatigue. Without spoiling anything (although I don’t know if there’s anyone left out there who hasn’t read this yet!), the reveal that came in the epilogue felt particularly unnecessary and farfetched.

But that being said, I loved the way this was written and was legitimately on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was particularly drawn in by the way Nellie and Vanessa are portrayed in the beginning, and then how the authors slowly but surely peel back those layers to get to the truth of who these people really are.
