When I picked up The Wife Between Us, I was in a period where I probably read about 10 books of the same genre and plot setup: Woman is estranged from husband and everyone thinks she's crazy, but she's not really crazy... or is she??!!
So, as you can see, I really expected to just read this one and pass it along, where it becomes muddled with all the other thrillers I've read.
BUT WHAT NO - there's twists everywhere. I had to keep going back and reading chapters because I couldn't understand how I missed the twist, the hints, etc.
The writing is well done, the story is suspenseful, and the twists are well done. Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen need to team up more often and publish ALL THE BOOKS.
