I have read most of Pekkenan's other books and didn't even realize she was a coauthor of this book until I finished.
In a book that has many twists and turns, I found myself fully immersed. I read the whole book in almost one sitting! Vanessa's ex husband Richard is getting remarried. We see Vanessa as she goes through dealing with this and still getting over her horrible marriage to Richard.
What we don't know while we are reading it is why the marriage ended. We slowly are let into the secrets of Vanessa and Richard's marriage.
I won't say too much more because of the possibility of spoiling something. But I highly recommend for people who like page turners and book that keep you guessing!
