Nothing is as it appears

I've been reading a lot of these type of mysteries recently, and for that genre, this was a pretty good read. Maybe not top literature, but still a lot of fun.

This book warns you that nothing is as it appears... Which is what made it pretty easy to guess the big twist in part one. But, reading about Nellie -- the young woman about to marry Richard -- and Richard's ex-wife, is still pretty interesting and sets the stage for the rest of the book.

You do have to suspend disbelief somewhat for the rest of the twists and turns, but that seems to be a given necessity within this genre generally. And the end was fairly satisfying, although not all the way satisfying. But definitely worth the read if this is a genre that you enjoy.
