This was my first book by these two and I loved it. A wild ride trying to figure out what’s going on. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected and figured out the twist about halfway through though I was happy to be right. The characters are engaging even with the first person POV and I cared about what happened to them. Honestly it feels like a movie.

I’m shocked it isn’t a movie yet years later. The emotion, the fear, the upset, and I felt every part. It’s a masterclass in description without going too far and I’m not a huge fan of overly descriptive books or stories.

The overarching story is not at all what you think it is and the ending is something you won’t see coming. I know I didn’t.

It got me though. You really shocked me.
This is the one that made me a huge fan even with figuring out the twist early on. Really recommend this and their other books.
