This is the first thriller for this author duo. I normally read Sarah Pekkanen's romance/contemporary reads so I was really excited to see what she could do with a thriller novel. Overall I found this book to just be okay. It didn't make it to my favorite thriller lists. I really liked the concept of this book. A woman following her "replacement" and ex-husband. At first, it was really gripping, but then it just got confusing. When I would get to twists, I couldn't tell where the twist came from. They seemed to come from nowhere. Throughout a lot of the book, I found myself to be confused. The pacing was either too fast or too slow, which is why I think I kept getting confused. Even though I just found this to be an average thriller, I'm still interested in reading more by this author duo in the future.
