I am not sure if I'm in the majority, but this read was just alright for me. The Wife Between Us is a typical psychological thriller with lots and lots of twists. It's a love triangle and the reader is made to believe lots of things....lots of details, events, memories, actions and behaviors surrounding a seemingly crazy ex-wife and soon-to-be seemingly perfect new wife. The reader is definitely turning pages to find out if the former wife will get in the way of this new women's relationship with her ex-husband, now fiancee.
My rating of three stars comes during a period where I read a spree of books in the same genre. And unfortunately that might have been one reason I did not give it more stars. I wish I could read it again for the first time to see if I would give it more stars. This author pairing is certainly popular, but I haven't read any others.
