So I liked this book, but I thought their second book together was much better. Maybe this was a warm up for them. There were convincing characters for me, but I just simply did not see this book as a thriller. When I read thrillers I like to feel like I'm on the edge of my seat or like something crazy is about to happen. This book didn't make me feel that way. Don't get me wrong this book isn't awful it had moments in it that I enjoyed and liked to read, but I don't think it should be categorized as a thriller. Maybe the fact that it was marketed as a thriller was a reason that I couldn't get past just simply liking the book. I do have to say that I did not like the ending of the book, I thought it was dumb and a bit of a cop out. I know a lot of people had a problem with the Maggie and Jason subplot, but that didn't bother me. I actually thought out of everything that made sense.
