The Wife Between Us has two point of views. One is about a woman, Vanessa, whose marriage is over. Her ex-husband, Richard, is rich, handsome and powerful and she lived in a lap of luxury. They divorced and her husband found another woman. She now lives with her aunt, wears out-of-date clothing and works at Saks.
The second point of view is a young nursery school teacher, Nellie, who is about to marry the rich, handsome and charming man of her dreams.
Vanessa is determined to stop Richard's marriage to the woman who is her replacement and she is going to get Richard's attention one way or another.
Without giving too much away this book was riveting and had a couple of twists that were unexpected, but as far as thrillers go this wasn't one of my favorites. It was still entertaining nonetheless.
