This is a classic suspense told from two perspectives with an unreliable narrator and several twists and turns.
The story follows two women. One still reeling from the messy fall out of a marriage gone wrong (read: new younger woman) and the other excitedly preparing to marry and have her whole life change.
I enjoyed this book, despite obvious issues and some overdone themes. It’s a fun, fast read with a twist I personally did not see coming. The ending was not my cup of tea and I think some of it could have been left out without negatively affecting the story or reducing the drama.
If you’re looking for just some escapist, mostly light suspense, this might be it for you! Enjoy the ride!
