Did not live up to my expectations!
Read this book a long time back and to be frank, not a fan of this book, although I live for suspense and mystery be it novels, movies or shows.
Firstly, shedding some light on the plot, it's a psychological thriller that makes you think the wife who is filled with jealousy (because her husband is involved with another woman) is our culprit with all evidences pointing towards her. Apparently, the book aims to defy all your theories by the end. Which it does but I felt it that the entire narration was rather weak.
Coming on to the review, I felt like the story took a lot of time to build up and the pace was rather slow due to which it took me longer to complete the book (keeping in mind, I tend to binge-read suspenses). The main revelation was in the epilogue, which I found kind of frustrating as there was a lot of info provided in the main body but just a little space was given to the main suspense.
