Right away I was drawn to this book because of the description. I wanted to know what was going on and the prologue only continued my interest. We should dislike the other woman but Nellie seems wonderful. She is kind and vulnerable and possibly damaged. The first wife on the other hand seems much darker and refers to her own problems and responsibilities in the ending of her marriage. Obviously both women seem to have very different ideas about what happened in their timeline with Richard, which of course only leads to more questions. What is the truth? What lengths will she go to in order to punish the woman she blames for the end of her marriage? I very much want to read more and find out!
