As a huge fan of Dean Koonz I was so excited to jump back into his worlds! The Whispering Room is the second book of the Jane Hawk series and doesn't disappoint. This picks right up where The Silent Corner left off. Jane is short on time and still on her mission to save humanity and the circle of evil. Koonz does an amazing job illustrating our worst nightmares. The intense action had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! The ever present good vs. evil battle is alive and well. As Jane continues her mission to find whomever is responsible for her husband she will be tested. There were parts that were a bit predictable and parts where I questioned Jane's intelligence but overall I loved this book!
