It has been a little while since I have read a Dean Koontz novel. I won't let that much time go by again. He takes his readers on a roller coaster ride.
From the first chapter I was captivated by the main character, Jane Hawk. She is a strong and likable female lead. This story stands on it's own and you don't have to read the first book in this collection to know what is going on. Although it will be backwards, I liked Jane so much I want to read The Silent Corner to see what happened before The Whispering Room.
This was an interesting look at how science can be helpful or harmful depending on whom is in control. It is an exciting novel with many interesting characters along the way. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a thriller.
