I did not find this to be a book worth reading. It took me multiple tries to read it all the way through. Of course this review is based on only a few chapters. However, I would not have continued reading even if I had the entire book.
The writing seemed almost mechanical, like it was being churned out of a machine. I found a couple of the references/descriptions to be incorrect, for example, there is no such thing as a Crimson Wisteria.
The characters lacked any redeeming factors, nor piqued my curiosity to learn anything more about them. They seemed to be without any substance, none of them fully formed.
I guess the plot would work, but only if the presentation were greatly improved.
