I liked this book. I didn’t read the first one in the series, and which it would have been helpful, this book was still enjoyable. I still understood what was going on. You can really tell this is part of a series though—kinda of a slow character build.
Overall it was suspenseful, interesting, and well written. I’ve read a few books by the same author and I like this one just fine.
