For fans of fast-paced thrillers, I think this book might hold a lot of appeal. The chapters are short and full of action. There were, however, a lot of unnecessary descriptions. I really don't need to know the details of Cora's dog doing his business. I don't need to know what brand of soap and shampoo Hannafin is using. Such details distract from the story and don't add to the enjoyment.
