Intriguing, with a doxie kicker!
The writing is excellent, of course. The descriptions are thorough, but not overwhelming.
The introduction of a long-haired dappled doxie hooked me instantly.
For me, this would be a standalone book, as I haven't read the first book in this series, but I can tell it would be an enjoyable experience.
I'm not the biggest fan of dream sequences and nightmares played out in novels, but I would still give this one an eager try.
