Let me just put this out there. My first impression just upon seeing the author's name is that this is going to be a good book, while that may be a little biased, Dean Koontz has been one of my favorite authors since high school when I picked up one of my mom's many copies of his books.
Just from the first chapter alone I get a since of mind control, kind of reminiscent of his book False Memory, I'm not sure if that's where this book is going but it's kind of the vibe I'm getting.
From this first look I can see everything setting up to come together and make everything I love about a good Dean Koontz book. You see some action being set up in Jane's story and mystery being set up in Cora's story.
