I'm disappointed that this is a part of a series. The description of this book sounds really interesting. A teacher that snaps and commits a shocking act of violence. Unfortunately these horrible acts of violence are becoming all too common in the USA. I would have been interested to hear how this story explores that, but since this book is a part of a series I'm afraid I'd be lost with not having read the first book. Might be worth looking into this series sometime though.
