The Whisper Man gets a 5-star rating from me. I was nervous about starting this book. Creepy books tend to not be my cup of tea, so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I opened this one up. You know all these creepy stories you hear on the playground as a child? This book felt like a version of one of those come to life.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! It was so difficult to put down, and I read it very quickly. The whole time I was reading, I had this ominous feeling that something bad was going to happen, and that kept me turning the pages until the very end.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You should definitely give this book a try whether you like thrillers or not. The writing was superb, the characters well developed, and the plot was intricate enough to keep me guessing. I appreciated how the story and characters felt deeper than many of the other thrillers I have read this year. The author also explored other issues in a way that fit perfectly with the plot and didn’t bog down the story.⠀⠀⠀⠀
