The cover of this book was interesting, just a creepy looking hand, and it definitely drew my attention. In the beginning, I wasn't sure if this was going to end up being a ghost story, but the mystery panned out and it was solved. There was a living, breathing culprit. And the supernatural bit was satisfactorily explained. I didn't feel that the author left the reader hanging as I sometimes have with other books.

There was a definite creepy factor to this story, and if anything creepy freaks you out, this might not be the book for you. However, I did enjoy it. Not one of my favorite reads ever, but definitely not one of my worst either. Fans of Riley Sager and Ruth Ware will enjoy this book.
