The Whisper Man was the book I needed to give me the right vibes for October. After I read it, I wanted to read every thriller I had on my TBR cart (which is a lot). This book also got me back into audiobooks again since I tend to have phases when it come to them. I loved that the book had multiple POVs so you can know what’s going through the minds of each person involved with the kidnappings and murders of the young boys. There was a lot of times where something would happen and I would say out loud “OH MY GOD, I didn’t see that coming” which I love because a lot of times I can’t be surprised with twists and turns in thriller books. I blame watching too much true crime since I was little and reading too many books😂

Another thing I liked about this book was the family dynamic. I love it, because it showed the family of Tom and his son Jake trying to mend their life back together after the shocking death of their wife/mother and how their relationship changed because of it. Also, big props to the narrator because he would do this creepy voice in certain parts and it would freak me out so much, I would look behind me to see if someone was behind me. This book is perfect if you want to get into thrillers AND be put in the spooky mood.
