What a great first novel from Alex North! I was immediately hooked by the characters and plot line. Tom Kennedy fights to hunt down a mysterious man known as the whisper man who whispers into the ears of children and then they end up missing. The whisper man returns and Tom's own son begins to hear these same nightly conversations. Tom is immediately fighting against the clock to hunt the whisper man and prevent his own child from going missing. It was a fabulous first read by him and left me terrified. I did feel like the novel lost it's way to the end of the text but it was very enjoyable. A great horror read that makes it difficult to sleep with the lights off ! This one will keep you guessing until the very end!
