Where are the whispers coming from? What is going on in this house? This book just plain scared me and left me unable to sleep. I felt like I was a part of the story in the absolute scariest way. The details are not lost as North very vividly describes every piece of this story. This is notyour typical thriller by any means. On one hand, I enjoyed it because it was hardly predictable and felt very real. However, I’m only giving it four stars as it did seem to drag on a bit for me. I got into it quickly and my interest just seemed to slowly fade with time. I highly recommend this one to anyone who likes one of those Stephen King-like, keep your up at night scary fiction novels. I look forward to reading future books by Alex.
