I have an unpopular opinion. I heard so many good reviews and was excited to read it. However, it wasn't what I expected. The book started slow and took a while to build up. Once it got going it was a good read and kept me wondering who the The Whisper Man was. However, I didn't get that creepy feel I was looking for.
Pros: I will say that I was shocked once I found out who The Whisper Man was and enjoyed the inter connections of all the characters. It had me guessing until the very end.
Cons: It was a slow build for me and didn't grab me at first but I was intrigued. I also found it hard sometimes to know which chapter was dedicated to which character. I often has to guess by the tone or conversations sometimes.
It definitely can be creepy and give you an eerie feel that someone is always watching you. It also can hit home because this does happen often which is extremely terrible.
