The Whisper Man reminded me of an episode of Criminal Minds, and maybe I’ve watched too many of those episodes because I was able to guess who the culprit was pretty early on! A lot of reviews that I have read say that this book is really scary, but for me it was just a bit creepy. It didn’t terrify me, and the creepiness was enjoyable! I would say that if you shy away from creepiness involving children, you might not enjoy this one. There were some surprises that I didn’t see coming. I’d say it began more slowly and it got really good at about page 150. I liked the characters and enjoyed reading a book that reminded me of one of my favorite shows. I would definitely read more from this author.
