20 years ago, a serial killer known as "The Whisper Man" abducted and murdered several little boys in a small town called Featherbank. Now its happening all over again but The Whisper Man is in jail. Is it a copycat or is something far worse going on?

Afrer the death of Rebecca the wife and mother. Tom Kennedy and his son Jake Kennedy move to Featherbank in order to have a fresh new start but they move into the local "scary house". Once they move in weird things start happening. Jake starts hearing voices and his imaginary friend starts telling him about The Whisper Man that he shouldn't know. Tom is barely holding it together for his son and sometimes wonders if something isn't quite right with Jake.

Still haunted by the original case Detective PI Willis was the lead investigator on the case and is now being dragged into the new case with Amanda Beck. Amanda doesnt realize how deep his connection with the case really goes.

The POV is always switching between Jake, Tom, Pete, and Amanda. Sometimes even the killer. All the characters are perfectly flawed. Nobody was perfect. So it gave them like a real life feel to them. It also gave a really good look into the father-son relationship. Which you dont see very often in books. The writing was great. All the chapters blended together nicely since they were always a different POV. This story really pulled you in. I was always left wanting to read more until I finished the book. I was constantly trying to figure out who might be the killer. I thought it was interesting to read as Jake to get his take on things and to be in his head.

When it came to spooky part of the story I felt like I was lacking because I was really scared. So wish there was more of that in it. I only felt scared once or twice but I also love horror so I watch it a lot so kinda know what to expect. I did really enjoy the twists that was constantly thrown at you. It was a great read all the way up until the very end.
