Perfectly eerie
This book is freaky in the bite your nails down to the quick kind of way. It’s really well written and that song is going to haunt my dreams. The story is so eerie that it keeps you in a state of anxiousness while you’re reading it. Definitely disturbing. It’s a clever plot, and there were moments that gave me full body chills and major goosebumps. I think my only complaint for lack of a better word is that at chapter 20 I guessed which character was the antagonist of this novel, just not the why or any background. This definitely did not take away from the story for me because what you learn about who it actually is blows your mind in its own way. I was definitely impressed with my first impression of this new to me author and will be closely following the rest of their publishing’s.
