I read my copy of The Whisper Man right around Halloween and it was the perfect spooky read! Thanks to this book I consider myself a fan of Alex North's writing.
Tom Kennedy believes a fresh start will be good for him and his son following his wife's death. Unfortunately their new- start town of Featherbank has a lot of secrets if its own. Plagued by a past of serial crime by a man deemed "The Whisper Man," Tom's son begins to hear whispering of his own.
It sounds cliche, but truly the twists and turns in this thriller leave you satisfied by the end. Speaking of the end, I was shocked by it to say the least. As an avid thriller reader, there's nothing I enjoy more than being shocked by the ending of a novel that still fills in all the plot holes. The Whisper Man did not disappoint.
