I want to start off by thanking the author and publisher for giving me the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book. I was immediately drawn to the book from the cover. I thought that the colors were beautiful and haunting with the tree illumination/shadows.
The book itself was captivating from page one. As I read I felt myself becoming quickly invested in the characters and in their reactions and emotions. The interactions amongst the friends was also a very interesting dynamic. I think the author did such a beautiful/wonderful job of developing each character and a captivating story line. I felt myself having a difficult time putting the book down because I was so curious about what was going to happen next!
