I really enjoyed this thriller. While it was a slow start, it was well written, the characters were well developed, and it kept me guessing up until towards the end. The creep factor throughout was awesome and makes this a perfect read for October. It takes a lot to make me feel a little unsettled in books so I was very impressed this actually felt a bit spooky at times to me! It’s not overly spooky so don’t be too turned off if you don’t like creepy books - this is primarily a procedural thriller but with plenty of good twists. Overall, it was a very solid 4 -4.5 ⭐️ read for me and one of the best thrillers I’ve read this year, maybe ever. I’ll definitely read more by this author in the future.
