There was a lot of hype around this book, about how creepy it was. I actually was nervous to read it and felt it was going to be outside my comfort zone (I'm not into creepy). But I ended up being disappointed. While there were some creepy aspects, overall this was more of a police procedural than thriller/creepy, at least in my opinion. There was a really big focus on father/son relationships and how each of those sons dealt with good (or bad) relationships and how it made them the men they became. That was fascinating. The ending was also disturbing. I think if it hadn't been for the hype and if I hadn't been expecting an overly creepy thriller, I would have liked this more. Loved the cover!
