I finally finished this one after starting it forever ago and then forgetting about it. This was my 2nd for the #24in48 #stayhome24in48 and it took me 3 hours and 5 minutes. I loved the idea of the book and I loved how Alex North based this book on his sons experience.

While I did really enjoy this read, I think that I hyped it so much that it didn’t live up to all the hype I was expecting.

For me, it started out kind of slow and stayed that way for a while. It wasn’t until the last 100 pages that I really was involved. The ending of the book really made up for the slower parts.

I loved Tom and Jakes relationship. It was hard but you knew that Tom was going to be there for Jake no matter what. Mo matter how angry they were with each other, they would always love each other.
