✨ This book was creepy! 20 years ago The Whisper Man kidnapped, tortured and killed 5 little boys. He was caught and sent to prison where he still rots. Now another little boy has gone missing but who took him? Then Tom and his son Jake move to town and Jake starts hearing whispers. This book is told from various points of view, which was executed very well. I always find it interesting to be in multiple character’s heads. It’s a whole lot of detective style mystery with a few surprising plot twists, but also the tiniest amount of supernatural was thrown in and it’s perfect. I will definitely be reading more from Alex North, already bought his second book The Shadows because of how much I enjoyed this debut. ✨
