I thoroughly enjoyed it (and scared most of the time)

This was a gripping read - a real nail-biting, legal thriller. I could not put it down!

Tiny Synopsis: A former con man turned criminal lawyer steps into defending one of the biggest cases of his career: a movie star double murder scandal. Meanwhile, the serial killer has worked seamlessly to get himself onto the jury and hide in plain sight - and kill anyone who is in his path.

My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/ 5 stars.

I just loved this type of crime thriller - and it in the perspective of both Eddie Flynn and the serial killer Joshua Kane. You are in the minds of both and going through all the motions. Some parts left me quite squeamish, but Kane is such a vile and interesting character to uncover and read through. Flynn is also an interesting character in his own right - amazing lawyer banter and court room drama. I COULD NOT STOP READING. The only criticism is probably how much I did not care for Flynn's family - at least in the way they were portrayed in this story. Perhaps the earlier novels delved into those relationships more. This is the 4th book in the series, and I want to go back and read the others.

A great read for those crime fiction lovers. I highly recommend!
