This was a great, well-written story with an awesome creep factor. I wouldn’t necessarily call it “twisty” but I don’t think it set out to be. It was sad and sometimes scary and suspenseful and I really enjoyed it. I was kept on the edge of my seat to see what would happen and the way everything played out was so good and satisfying! Definitely glad I read this one.
I really liked the way things played out. For a lot of the book we weren't sure how Jake knew the things he knew, but it all had a realistic explanation.
There were also some really creepy moments, especially with the house. I was never quite sure what was going to happen.
There were some unexpected moments but no omg twists.
All in all I really liked this one!
