While there are many characters in this book, I didn’t find it difficult to tell them apart. Even when the author flipped from one person’s perspective to the next, it was clear which character you were following (and it often left to great cliffhangers too!) I often found myself looking over my shoulder after dark while reading this because the eerie nature of the story touches on a pretty primal fear many of us had when we were kids - a stranger after us in the night. I don’t mind being a little spooked, and if you don’t either, pick this up!
