The Whisper Man has haunted many generations. At first it was thought he was caught and the crimes solved until a missing boy conjures up images of past crimes. The reader follows two groups: the detectives, Amanda Beck and Pete Willis, and two newcomers, Tom Kennedy and his son Jake, who unknowingly move into the creepiest house in town.

The book is eerie and sinister, making the reader constantly look over their shoulder and dissecting every little noise. It gave the aura of the supernatural without going too far into fantasy.

The different perspectives melded well into each other, not fighting each other as can happen if not careful. The writing is smooth and will easily draw you into it's world.

It was a quick read but not because I skimmed the boring parts or wanted it to end. It was extremely intriguing and kept my attention glued to the pages.
