This book is very well written. It is a disturbing book about a murder that happened 20 years ago and a father and son who move to the town that it happens in. The events that follow are disturbing.
I did put the book down for a few days and then pick it up again as the story gets more involved and unsettling. When you have children it is one of your worst fears that someone takes them. When this happens in the book I felt the fear of the child and of the parent. Excellent writing to have the reader that intuned with what was going on. The story has ever emotion in it. I love the character of Jake. He was so well written.
