I definitely had the unpopular opinion on this one. I really wanted to love this book, but my biggest issue with it was that I felt like it really took a long time to get anywhere. The build up wasn’t enough to keep me fully interested and invested in where the story was going. I did like the twists in this one and didn’t expect it to end the way that it did. The relationships were very intriguing and I think that was probably my favorite part of this book. I felt like the storyline was solid and I recognize the amount of diligence that went into creating the plot and the ending, but I felt like it could have been done a little better to make it more interesting for the reader. Overall, I fell in the middle with this one. I didn’t love it or hate it.
