Overall, this book started out soooo creepy and eerie. I felt like I had to read it during the daytime to keep from getting too freaked out. The description throughout the book really pulls you into the story and immerses you in the world and the characters. I loved the plot and the suspense but when it came to the ending I was a little disappointed. I know it wasn’t really supposed to be a ghost story but it felt like it fell flat when it wrapped up. There was all this scary, dramatic build up and then the ending just didn’t seem as scary. I did really enjoy the book though and finished it incredibly fast. The characters were relatable and smart, they kept the narrative interesting. I will read more by this author.
